Your Family Doctor in Menlo Park

Personalized Primary Care, Right Here in Menlo Park
Peninsula Doctor has cared for Menlo Park families from the same neighborhood for nearly two decades. Our office on Burgess Drive is a few minutes from downtown, and each of our physicians cares for just 100 patients. That’s what makes same-day visits, direct access to your physician day or night, and appointments with time to talk possible.
Close to home, wherever you live in Menlo Park
Whether you live in Allied Arts, Sharon Heights, Linfield Oaks or Willows, our office is a short drive or bike ride away. For many members, a visit fits between school drop-off and the start of the workday. When it’s appropriate, we also see members at home.
With direct physician access, same-day appointments when needed, comprehensive annual examinations, and thoughtful coordination with leading Bay Area specialists, we provide a more personal and proactive approach to primary care.

More done in our own office
Fewer trips elsewhere is part of the point. In our office we provide comprehensive primary care and annual physicals, blood draws, vaccinations, travel medicine, and minor procedures like stitching or gluing cuts. That saves a separate trip to a lab or urgent care.
Prevention and long-term health
Our longevity care looks for risks early: heart and metabolic health, cancer screening, bone health, sleep and cognition. Then we build a plan around what we find, and adjust it as your life changes.
Women’s health and menopause care
Our women’s health care covers preventive care, perimenopause and menopause, including hormone therapy, within your overall health. Dr. Judy Kim leads much of our menopause care.
Care coordinated with Stanford and beyond
Stanford is just across the creek, and we work closely with specialists there, as well as at UCSF, Sutter Health and Palo Alto Medical Foundation. We help choose the right specialist, coordinate referrals and testing, and stay your central point of contact throughout.
Your physicians
Dr. Ian Kroes, Dr. Judy Kim and Dr. David Hiroshima each bring more than a decade of full-time primary care experience. Dr. Kroes, a Stanford-trained family physician, founded the practice and has cared for patients in Menlo Park for nearly two decades. How our concierge medicine works.
From a Menlo Park member
I am a fellow physician in the community, and if I had a family member looking for the top primary care doctor in the Silicon Valley, I would send them to Dr. Kroes at the Peninsula Doctor. Dr. Kroes and those in his practice provide the highest level of individualized healthcare. He additionally has the most wonderful bedside manner and will always go the extra mile to ensure his patients have the best care available. If you are looking for a primary care doctor in concierge medicine, I could not recommend anyone higher than Dr. Kroes and his associates. D.K. from Menlo Park.
