Peninsula Doctor is the premier concierge medical practice on the San Francisco Peninsula. It is owned and operated by Dr. Ian Kroes.

What Is A Concierge Doctor?

A concierge doctor is a physician who limits the number of patients they care for in order to provide the highest possible care for each individual.

Is a Concierge Doctor right for me?

If you want more personalized care from the doctor you know and trust, then Peninsula Doctor is right for you. We are always available and can take as much time as necessary to properly diagnose and treat your health concerns.

Who does Peninsula Doctor take care of?

Peninsula Doctor cares for both adults and children.

What is the payment structure?

Peninsula Doctor is a member-only retainer fee concierge practice. Prices depend on the number of family members you enroll in our practice.

Do you have co-payments?

No. As a member of Peninsula Doctor, you will have access to a comprehensive array of primary care services. Peninsula Doctor does not cover ER services, hospitalization, or specialists.

Do I still need health insurance?

Yes. Your membership fee covers all visits with Peninsula Doctor. You need to carry insurance to cover hospitalizations, specialty services, labs, or radiology exams.

Do you accept insurance or Medicare?

No. Peninsula Doctor offers preventive care services that are generally not covered by insurance or Medicare. If you have an HSA account, you may be able to use it to cover all or part of the membership fee.

Do you offer services outside of your medical office?

Yes. If you need attention at home or even on vacation, Peninsula Doctor is always at your service.

How do I find specialists around my area or while traveling?

We have partnered with some of the best local specialists as well as international networks of physicians who will be able to treat you regardless of where you are.

What do I do in case of an emergency?

Please call 911 immediately. Give us a call after you have called the paramedics so we can monitor your condition and work with the local emergency clinic to provide you with the best care possible.
