Dr. Clyde Wilson PHD
Dr. Clyde Wilson is one of the most respected and known experts on nutrition in the US. His goal is to change how individuals think about health from the ground up. Using a systematic science-based approach to nutrition programming for individuals, groups and personalized products Dr. Clyde helps people learn about nutrition and create nutritional plans to achieve their best health.
Dr. Clyde Lectures at Stanford University, Athletics and Human Biology department. He also is a Research Associate in Biochemistry at UCSF. Clyde Wilson’s research targets a theoretical understanding of metabolism. He has taught nutrition and human movement in Stanford’s Department of Athletics and food pharmacology in the Stanford and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) medical schools for more ten years. He is passionate about educating his students and clients about understanding nutrition and how it impacts their metabolism and ultimately weight.
Diane Hester, Registered dietician
Diane Hester is a Registered Dietitian (RD) who has been active in the field of nutrition and health promotion for over 30 years. She was the Director of Clinical Nutrition at Stanford University Medical Center and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital before returning to her original passion of health and wellness on the individual patient level. 15 years ago, she started Health for Life with Dr. Kelly Traver.
Health for Life was a 12 week wellness program that demonstrated that a significant improvement in one’s health could be had with a change in eating habits. For the last 10 years, she has been providing Medical Nutrition Therapy as well as her wellness program to patients at the Menlo Medical Clinic. Her philosophy is food before supplements and her objective is to adjust one’s diet to provide a nutrient dense, satisfying, real food experience to enjoy everyday for a lifetime of dietary compliance. Diane lives in Menlo Park, and in her spare time enjoys many outdoor activities as well as spending time with her husband and 2 grown children.
Erika Deshmukh, MS, RDN, CDE
Erika is a dietitian and certified diabetes educator with a masters in nutrition from San Jose State University. She worked at Palo Alto Medical Foundation for the past 10 years as an outpatient consultant dietitian and expert in weight management. She developed and led an interactive and highly effective virtual platform for lifestyle change
classes focused on nutrition and weight loss for a personalized health care program immersed in technology. Erika is a Mindfulness-based Eating Awareness Training Instructor and has a passion for motivating change and promoting optimal health. She lives in Cupertino, has a teenage son, and loves hiking, yoga, cooking, and chocolate.
